In this Amaroo session, Prem Rawat highlights the work he does with The Prem Rawat Foundation (TPRF) and invites a distinguished panel on to the stage to discuss the incredible impact that the Peace Education Program is having on people around the world.
The group shares how the program got its humble start 10 years ago and has now reached 300,000 people in 80 countries. They share profound stories of how the program is transforming the lives of university students, gang members, incarcerated people and more.
Prem Rawat outlines how the program has become a key part of his outreach and celebrates the people who are helping make it happen. He also notes how the TPRF Food for People program is helping break the cycle of poverty in disadvantaged communities. At a follow-up meeting, Prem was able to spend some time with a group of TPRF volunteers from around the world.
September 6, the Focus 5 event continued with a reminder that the objective of life is to thrive, not survive. He encouraged everyone to learn to let that which is beneficial sink in and let the rest go, and be attracted to that beautiful, that attractive state within each of us. Focus where there is no fear, doubt or envy.
Prem referenced the words of Krishna saying “Whatever you think about most in your life, you will remember that at your last minute.” Asking the question, “Do we remember gratitude or are we only trying to find solutions to problems?”
Recognizing that during these past few years, many have seen the loss of loved ones, Prem encouraged everyone to put the sadness aside and celebrate them, allow them to live on in memory - celebrate them in your heart. He added the practical perspective that you can‘t celebrate them with sadness.
In Amaroo, Day 2, more than 2,800 people from 57 countries had the unique opportunity to listen to Prem Rawat while he guided them through a review of the techniques of Self-Knowledge.
An additional 2,000 people from around the world, experienced the start of Prem conducting the Knowledge Review. He provided context and inspiration about the simplicity and importance of practice. The session was broadcast in English with simultaneous interpretation in Hindi.
